Update: Windfoil & Watersports boarding day 17 May cancelled!

In order to slow down the further spread of the Coronavirus, we are forced to cancel the Windfoil and water sports boarding day of 17 May. As soon as we are allowed to organize events in the Netherlands again, we will of course organize a Windfoil step day again. If you are interested, please send us an email and we will put you on the list of participants

On Sunday 17 May, together with Windsurfvereniging Almere Centraal, we will organize a Haddock water sports the annual “Water sports Step up day”. The activities take place on the surf beach in Almere Haven. The Water Sports Step up Day starts at 10:00 and ends at 17:00.

During this can you get acquainted with various water sports in a fun and accessible way through clinics. Also on the side is the necessary to see and do. The perfect day for a nice day out. Read the full program below.

We organize the first wind foil day on the 17th of May. You can sign up for one of the 3 clinics to experience for yourself how cool it is to fly above the water. I small groups of up to 5 participants go to the water with an experienced instructor after a short instruction. The clinic lasts 1.5 hours and costs € 60,-. Windsurf association Almere Centraal organizes windsurfing clinics all day during the water sports boarding day. For only € 10, – you can participate in one of the windsurfing clinics. The windsurfing clinics last 1.5 hours. After a short instruction on the side, you’ll go out on the water with 2 instructors. The use of a suit, shoes and life jacket is included in the price. At Haddock Watersport, participants of all ages can sign up for a sailing clinic in the Valk. You sit with an instructor on board, get instructions along the way and you can take over the helm yourself. Sailing clinics are also given in the Optimist to children aged 7 to 12. In addition, the participants all go into their own boats in the water. Both sailing clinics last 1.5 hours and the cost is € 10 per person. The use of a life jacket is included in the price. Kiteboardschool.nl comes to Almere with her e-foils. E-foiling is flying above the water on a shelf, with the foil powered by a small engine. You can also register for one of the clinics for this. Testing the latest windsurfing and wind foil material

All major windsurfing brands are present during the windsurfing day with the latest windsurfing and wind foil material that can be tried out FOR FREE. The Starboard, Severne, Naish, Fanatic and Duotone brands are in any case of the party.

At Beachbar Haddock there is an opportunity to chill out on the sun terrace while enjoying a snack and a drink. Between 9.30 and 12.00 you can start the day well with a healthy breakfast and from noon the barbecue will go on for the necessary burgers and satay. Of course, fine music is also provided to get all the way into the summer mood.
