Description
The Starboard Carbon GTR EVO carbon foil (model 2022) is a slalom race foil aimed at breaking speed records. The Starboard GTR EVO carbon has a carbon mast of 95 cm, an aluminium fuselage of 105 cm. The wings are made of carbon, with the front wing having an area of 650 cm2 and the back wing 255 cm2. Starboard Carbon GTR Evo available in 2 variants:
- The standard GTR Evo carbon with a front wing of 650 cm2
- The GTR Evo carbon with extra 575 cm2 EVO front wing
Which front wing when?
The standard front wing of 650 is good to use up to about 18 knots. If the wind blows harder, the smaller front wing with an area of 575 cm2 can be controlled faster and better.
