Freewing Air V3 (model 2023) is a further development of the highly appreciated V2. The Freewing Air originated from the collaboration between Starboard and Airush. An all-round wing that is very stable and generates a lot of forward pressure. Available in sizes 2.5 m2 to 7 m2.

What has changed about the Freewing Air V3?

The fabric tension of the Freewing Air V3 is a lot higher. As a result, stability and performance have been greatly improved. A higher air pressure now goes into the leading edge, making the construction stiffer. This allowed the leading edge to become thinner. This makes the Freewing Air V3 more agile.

Finally, the center strut is also structured differently, giving the wing even more power. Finally, the Freewing Air V3 has a new handle system. As standard, the Freewing Air V3 comes with 2 soft trades. For an even more direct feeling, the handles can be replaced by Carbon Pre Preg handles that weigh only 100 grams.

Our findings of Freewing Air V3

• Delivers more power than V2 and feels ‘tighter’ again
