Due to the purchase of new demo and test material, we are selling this so-called Starboard X-15 85 in the Starlite Carbon version. This board has only been used a few times and is undamaged. We supply this board with a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty.

About the Starboard X-15 85 Starlite Carbon

This board has exactly the same shape as the carbon version (’23) but the deck and nose are made of the strong Starlite construction. Carbon is incorporated into the soil.

As a result, the board is about 1 kg heavier than the carbon version, but really much stronger. Due to the extra weight, this board is also slightly more stable than the carbon version.

Why choose the Starboard X-15 Starlite Carbon?

The Starboard X-15 Starlite Carbon is made of a bullet proof material (Starlite) that is not only a lot stronger than the X-15 carbon version, but also a lot cheaper. The bottom is made of carbon to keep the total weight as low as possible.

The Starboard X-15 Starlite Carbon is as heavy as the IQfoil 85 which we know is still a great weight to go really hard (the youth goes over 50 km / h on the IQfoil 85!).

When you get on the foil you notice that the board needs a little more wind. An advantage is that precisely because of the slightly higher weight, the board is slightly more stable for wind foiling.
