Starboard S-Type wing

The Starboard S-type MKII series low aspect ratio wings. Problem-free wing foiling, easy and quick to get on the foil, that’s what the S-Type is good at. The large wings make stable wing foiling and transitions particularly easy.

The largest 2 sizes are unchanged and the 1800 and 1500 have been completely renewed, with the focus being more on a higher top speed and a more dynamic character.

S-type 2400 and 2000

The thick profile makes (learning) wing foiling very easy. The wings feel stable and give a lot of lift with little speed. Getting on the foil is therefore very easy. The winglet tips at the ends also provide very good directional stability.

S-type 1800 and 1500

The shape of the 1800 and 1500 has been completely renewed. The wings are wider and slightly thinner. As a result, these 2 sizes are a lot faster but are also a lot more dynamic. Ideal for smooth carving in the waves. These sizes also feel very stable and therefore also suitable for the novice and/or lighter wing foilers.

Who is Starboard S-Type MKII suitable for?

Both the novice and experienced freeride oriented wing foiler appreciate these wing sets. The S-type wings excel in stability and ‘easy going’ wing foiling.

Are you lighter than 70 kilos and/or do you want to wing foil from 10 knots or more? Then you can easily choose the 1800 or 1500. These wings provide enough lift and feel just a bit more dynamic in these conditions than the 2 largest sizes.
