Severne Hyper 7 foil racing sail

We have a number of Hyper 7 demo sails in various sizes for sale. These sails belonged to a team rider who only sailed them a few times. They are in good condition, with only sail numbers and event stickers remaining.

The Severne Hyper 7 is the new name for wind foil racing. Severne is currently the most successful brand in wind foil racing. All this knowledge and experience has been incorporated into the new Severne Hyper. The sail is available in the sizes; 4.0 m2, 5.0 m2, 6.0 m2, 7.0 m2, 8.0 m2 and 9.0 m2. All sizes have 7 battens and 4 cambers.

What is customized in the Hyper?

• Less downforce on the board, allowing you to foil with less lift with wings
• Geometry per sail size adapted to the respective wind range
• Wider wind range
• Less back hand pressure
• Middle section of the leash is slightly more open
• Improved and smoother mast luff material
• Custom profile front sail

All the changes allow you to race in a more controlled manner and make the nose of the board less likely to be pressed onto the water with hard gusts.

Severne race foil sail for whom?

• This sail is for the experienced wind foiler who wants to foil slalom and foil competitions
• This sail is less suitable for up- and down wind foiling
• This sail requires a high performance wind foil, such as the Starboard Slalom foil or F4 Foils Slalom Race
• The best match with the Hyper 7 is a slalom foil board like the Starboard X-15
• The more recreational wind foiler has more fun with the Severne Foilglide
