The Starboard Wingboard Limited is a completely new model. The boards are generally longer than the Starboard models of recent years. The extra length makes it easier to get on plane. The board has also become more stable due to its extra length. You’ll notice this when stepping on, but also during foiling.

Which size to choose?

If you are a novice wingfoiler, choose a board with a volume of; your own weight + approx. 20 liters of volume. If you are more advanced, you can quickly purchase a smaller board. The smaller the board, the more ‘playful’ and free wing foiling feels.

Which wingfoil?

You get the best performance with the Starboard Wingboard when you use foils with a front wing larger than about 1100 cm2. The following wing foils in our range are extremely suitable for this board:

• Starboard Starter wingfoil is the ideal foil to quickly master wing foiling
• The AK Trek is comparable to the Starboard Starter, but with fewer upgrade options
• Starboard Freeride wingfoil is a nice foil for the lighter beginner foiler or the advanced foiler
• AK Tracer V3, makes the set up a bit more technical and challenging, with extreme response
