X-15 class wing

The X-15 class wings are designed for racing in the X-15 class. In addition to maximum performance, a lot of attention has also been paid to the fact that the wings last extra long. These X-15 class wings are available in 5 sizes.

X-15 Class wing for the juniors (U13 and U15)

With the development of the X-15 class wing, a good balance was sought between performance and a sturdy construction that lasts a long time. The dacron airframe provides a rigid construction and is extra strong due to the double layer of dacron.

The fabric is made of the exclusive, light and extra strong Ultra X Canopy. This provides extra performance and this material retains its shape for longer. There are extra windows in the fabric for optimal visibility.

The wing is equipped with 2 inflation valves. This allows you to easily control the pressure distribution in the centerstrut and the leading edge separately from each other.

In the traling edge, a total of 1 m2 of fabric can be extracted from the wing on both sides. As a result, the deployment range of this wing is greatly increased. This ensures that in all wind conditions you can race with 1 and the same wing.

This wing is standard equipped with a carbon boom with EVA grip for better grip and comfort. This wing is available in the sizes;

• 4.5 m2 (for U13 class)
• 5.0 m2 (for U15 class)

X-15 Class wing U17 / U19 / Senior ladies and gentlemen

For the older youth and the adults, an X-15 wing has been developed that goes a step further in terms of performance compared to the wing that the juniors wing. The fabric is also made of Ultra X Canopy, but the airframe is made of ultralight and strong Ho’okipa.

The Ho’okipa material provides an even stiffer construction. As a result, the performance of this wing is even better compared to the wing for the juniors.

Directly behind the leading edge, the wing is provided with a double layer on the windward side. This extra layer provides better aerodynamics and stability.

As with the X-15 wing for the juniors, this wing is also equipped with;

• Zip-off part to make the wing 1m2 smaller
• Carbon boom with EVA grip
• 2 Inflation valves
• Additional windows for maximum visibility

This wing is available in the sizes;

• 5.5 m2 (for U17 class)
• 6.0 m2 (for U19 and senior ladies class)
• 6.5 m2 (for senior men’s class)

The wings come in a flat storage bag that fits easily into the X-15 board bag.
